Greenwell now available

The Greenwells have finally arrived, the adverts have been booked in "The Gardener" and "Die Tuinier" magazines, on sale in November. We have also advertised in "Landscape SA" which is a subscription only magazine which goes mainly to Landscape Architects. The first couple have been installed already, some nurseries have put in stock and now comes the hard work, getting the word out, creating the demand and getting the product in front of as many faces as possible.
For the balance of October, anyone ordering via this blog gets R 5.00 off the list price. The list price of the small one is R 75.00 and the large one is R 150.00 (Exclusive of VAT)
In order to take advantage of this introductory offer, contact me at greenwell@ttagencies.co.za
Please forward this blog to as many people as you can think of, lets try and establish as many trees as possible, conserving water at the same time.

Greenwell watersavers

This week we have no special offers.

I want to share this time on our latest venture. We have decided to import, from Australia, a container of Greenwell watersavers for distribution countrywide.

As a horticulturist, trained at Kew Gardens in the UK, and with many years of being a horticulturist with Jhb. City Parks, and Vancouver City Parks, this product excites me like few other. For more information on the product click here .
The pictures above show the Greenwell in use, as well as a picture of the container, just prior to despatch. The gentleman in the centre of the picture is Brian Measday, the inventor of the Greenwell. The container should arrive towards the end of August, and we can then despatch orders placed prior to arrival, and do a roadshow promoting them.
They have been specified by Landscape Architects, endorsed by many Australian Parks Departments, and arboriculturists. It has won awards for innovation and watersaving.
I will be on leave for 3 or so weeks, so there will be no more posts for a while.

Hose Strainers

A Real Bargain

This weeks offering is a real winner!! We have some of these Hose Strainers made of Plastic and Stainless steel. They are normally attached to the end of a hose, to stop twigs leaves etc from being sucked into the pump. The normal application would be for a pond or fountain pump, but they can be used anywhere, ie.below a footvalve.

The prices are as follows:
1" (25mm) male thread R 4.65 each

1.1/2" (40mm) m. thread R 9.50 each

2" (50mm) male thread R 19.00 each

3" (80mm) male thread R 25.86 each

Prices are INCLUSIVE of VAT @ 14%

This special is valid from 17/07/2009 to 31/07/2009 ONLY

The previous special for the brass sprayers was such a success that they are sold out at that price, we do however have stock at the normal price. If you snooze you lose!!

Sprayers at cost

This weeks special offer for all the farmers out there, is a Vyrsa #35 - 20mm (3/4") full circle Brass Impact sprayer for R 114.00 INCLUSIVE of Vat at 14%. The normal retail price for this sprayer is R 163.02. It does not include the nozzles, for the simple reason that there are so many combinations of nozzles and/or plugs, either Brass or Plastic. These will be quoted for separately.
It is particularly suitable for Agriculture as it has a diameter of between 28 Met. and 36 Met. depending on pressure and nozzle combination.
Again, as with all our special offers, there is limited stock, and is subject to stock availability.

The early bird catches the worm!!

This weeks special offer

KWIK KLAMP wire hoseclamp maker
This week showcases our first in a series of special offers. They will be posted from time to time, I can not promise a special offer every week.
The KWIK KLAMP is a solid, easy to use way of making hose clamps from wire (up to 4mm) which most farmers have in their store.
The price of this item is now (while stocks last) only R 95.00 inclusive of VAT.
The kit includes a CD-ROM with full instructions for use.
The reason we are moving these out now is because we need to make room for the new stock which will also include two other tools, one to join wire, the other to make up wire hose clamps for use later. This kit will obviously cost quite a bit more!
I will be on leave for 10 days from tomorrow, but when I am back, I hope to be able to give you more information on the other parts of the new kits.

Be sure and visit our website for an overview of the full range of products we can supply, and to place orders.

A start to a new challenge.

This is the introduction to our company blog. I started the company in 1994, with my wife in the office (our house) after being put on early retirement, and was joined 3 or 4 years later by my son Simon. Between us and with lots of help from the Lord, we have now grown to a staff complement of 14.
We are currently one of the best known Limpopo wholesale and retail suppliers of a wide range of irrigation equipment, pipes and fittings, as well as insulation and plastic sheeting for the construction industry. See our range at http://www.ttagencies.co.za and feel free to contact us for your requirements.
We will be posting special deals from time to time on this blog, rather than on the website, so please follow us to stay informed.
I am not a prolific writer, so expect the blogs to be short, but hopefully useful and advantageous to our customers.
